It is composed of a network of 15 walk-up computer terminals and a premier web site. The computer terminals are located throughout Northwest Wisconsin and along the North Shore of Minnesota supplying visitors to the Area with subscribing lodging, retail, restaurant, services, entertainment, etc. business information including detailed descriptions, photos and web site links. The web site (www.visit-midwest.com) is the perfect solution for those businesses wanting to increase site traffic via the millions who use the Internet to plan their travels. E-Commerce Features: by quote For those businesses that desire to sell securely online, CCS will setup a professional shopping cart to handle your transactions. Cost by quote. Web Site Maintenance CCS offers a range of maintenance plans designed to meet your business needs. From secure shopping cart updates to seasonal text changes, we will make it easy for you to keep your web site up-to-date. Maintenance plans include a combination of layout alterations, text updates and photo changes throughout the year. * Typical Third Party Web Costs: Additional third party costs will be encountered when setting up your own domain (i.e. www.yourbusinessname.com). Those costs will include, among possibly others, domain name registration and web hosting fees. CCS will manage the setup of the domain on your behalf and works closely with a number of web hosting companies, including Chequamegon Telecommunications Company, and can assist you in setting up your domain. Our goal will be to make the establishment of your web site as easy as possible for you. Domain Name Registration If you do not already have a domain name (i.e. www.yourbusinessname.com), then you will need to register and reserve a domain name of your own. CCS will assist you in selecting and/or registering your domain name. CCS typically uses Network Solutions (www.netsol.com), a VeriSign Company, as the registrar. Currently, domain names are available for $35.00/ year. CCS will help you register your new domain name. Domain Hosting CCS does not host domains ourselves but we will be more than happy to recommend several hosting companies that we work with on a regular basis. These companies generally charge between $9-$25/ month. CCS works with a number of web hosting companies both locally and nationally. We will assist you in selecting a web hosting company and then work with that company to setup your domain. |
